Support the development and implementation of the ecommerce strategies for Decathlon Italy wholesale project (B2B & B2B2C).

Working directly with the Ecommerce Teams Decathlon Italy (CRM, Traffic Acquisition, eMerchandising, CX, Data) to ensure the online visibility and the online KPIs for wholesale departments projects. The Decathlon wholesale project is regrouping B2B entities (club and associations, tourism companies, wellbeing companies, schools and administrations), Gift card (B2B and BC2) and the resellers project. 

Our ambition is to improve our market share and to be a referent sport brand for professionals. In our strategy, digital distribution channels will represent a huge part and represent a massive growth of digital in the coming years. 

Strongly linked with the Italian team and Decathlon United Wholesale ecommerce teams, your role will be to participate in digital growth as a key to success. That’s why we are looking for an Ecommerce project Leader Wholesale to join our digital wholesale team.

Key Job Responsabilities

Website optimisation:

  • Support Wholesale online visibility on and management of the web calendar for wholesale projects. 
  • Creation of B2B Landing Pages to improve the customer online experiences
  • Implementing SEO strategies to ensure the website is easily crawled and indexed by search engines, leading to improved visibility on search engine result pages.
  • Collaborating with copywriters, developers, and designers to develop and execute technical and on-page SEO strategies, ensuring seamless integration throughout the development and design process for optimal search performance.
  • Propose new solutions to improve the customer online experience.

Project management:

  • Follow-up of the new website launch and guarantee the wholesales assets needed.
  • Working directly with the Decathlon CRM team to define and implement a B2B CRM Plan.
  • Work directly with the acquisition team to prepare and follow the briefing of our web agency and our results regarding SEM and retargeting strategies.
  • Work on the web affiliation program and become the wholesale referent for this topic. 
  • Work on the external marketplaces projects and realisation of online benchmarks to identify our best partners according to the business leader briefing. 
  • Work directly with the Loyalty team.


  • Follow-up of our results in Web Analytics.
  • Follow-up of our digital share and creation of reporting/dashboard to present it to the team in collaboration with the data analyst.
  • Measure SEM effectiveness in terms of ROI, ROAS, traffic, and conversions.


  • At least 5 years’ experience in web digital environment
  • Knowledge of Sport B2B environment will be a plus 
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with positive vision
  • Hands-on understanding of e-marketing tools and instruments (SEA, SEO, Affiliate, Retargeting, Web Analytics etc…)
