We are looking for a Planning and Procurement Specialist to join our Global Operations function in Mirandola (MO) plant.
In this role you will guarantee the purchasing of finished goods in order to maintain stock and production continuity respecting service level agreement and contracts.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Release purchase orders to the specific supplier and update the Procurement system ensuring timely placement and delivery of components in line with production planning requirements
- Reschedule open purchase orders and verify with the specific supplier the feasibility in order to suit production planning requirements
- Inform Purchasing Department for changes related to the prices or specific requests coming from suppliers
- Check regularly the level of products stocked
- Give suggestions for new planning/delivery system in order to guarantee the process improvement in terms of service level and economic aspect validate from Purchasing Department
- Guarantee the program release for department involved and check the status of the activities
- Update constantly the Customer Service and Marketing departments for product availabilities or issues
- Manage the requests coming from external suppliers in collaboration with Logistics Warehouse
- Manage purchase order of indirect materials through SAP system, prepare and release components orders (CSR/MTR) for suppliers/customers
- Manage purchase orders for other warehouses
- Ensure the supply and be the key contact for the external suppliers
- Manage in collaboration with Team Leaders the emergency and execute written and oral reminder to the suppliers (e.g. shortages)
- Manage the extra-demand in collaboration with Manager and Demand Planner
- Track supplier (internal departments and external suppliers) performances and share them during VMS meeting with all other functions
- Participate to crossfunctional projects to show and share planning & logistics requirements, follow the developments until the end of them
REQUIREMENTS:
- A degree in Management Engineering or Economics is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Italian and English is mandatory.
- Previous experience in roles related to Procurement, Supply Chain or Production Planning.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Excel and Access.
- Good knowledge of SAP ERP would be an advantage.
- Green Belt Certification will be a plus.
