General Description of the Role, Mission & Objectives

The GBS Reporting & Analytics (R&A) is a fully dedicated team to accelerate the definition, implementation, and maintenance of the enterprise R&A framework, enabling a more efficient and effective data lake and report lifecycle management, fostering data-driven decisions.

Moreover, the R&A service tower provides business functions with pre-defined reports, dynamic dashboards, and analytics to encourage and provide evidence-based and quantitative reports and analysis, enabling to turn different sources of data into coherent, interactive and dynamic insights.

The dedicated team enables a faster R&A evolution leveraging the shared expertise of R&A design and building in self-served analytic tools, manual reporting and/or orchestrating the interaction with relevant stakeholders to address the best solution to implement as well as to strive for continuous improvement, in strong partnership with IT and FP&A team to establish and enforce governance rules in terms of opportunities, prioritization and technical solutions.

The GBS R&A trainee’s role is to assist in the definition of business requirements and Group FP&A strategic and operative guidelines, as well IT recommendations in terms of technology and data architecture solutions.

The trainee helps with data management dashboard creation, delivery and maintenance for IT and external vendor.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the migration of the existing PowerBI report to the new technology leveraging AZURE (remote activity).
  • Provide support in data quality management and consistency in the transition (remote activity).
  • Support in organizing the integration plan with TCS (remote activity).
  • Start the creation of some reports in the Finance area, with blackberries, focusing on the Statutory and GBS area (remote activity).
  • Support the finalization of the new module of the FA.
  • Support the update of the FFNF academy.
  • Support the organization of both FA & FFNF.
  • Coordinates the creation of the newly created GBS academy.

Key Relationships

  • Internal: Group and Regional FP&A, Group and Regional IT, Group and Regional leaders of business functions
  • External: Outsourcers and senior consultants

Education / Professional Qualifications

  • University Degree in relevant disciplines (Business Economic/Engineering/Maths….)
  • Technological understanding
  • Fluent English is mandatory; a second fluent language is required; a third language is recommended
  • Knowledge of Marketing and Sales
  • Manage of Niesen IRI Kantar data
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
  • Use of PPT and excel
